I was well past my use by date & figured I wasn't going to go out defeated, beaten & bruised without putting up a fight to gain the lifestyle I deserved & worked out would need at least a million dollars to begin it!

So; enter the internet...

A friend suggested I get the internet on so he could send me an article he thought I'd be interested in.

That was around May 2008.

I received the info some weeks later, it was about an internet seminar that had already occurred on the Coast by this time!

The info was a sales letter which had me transfixed!

I read & re-read it dozens of times trying to get the concept of earning money via the internet through my head. It seemed you could earn millions of dollars in even a DAY!

How was this possible?

It must be a scam?
Surely, no one in their right mind would waste their time trying to earn money this way...would they?

I pushed every blue line in that very looooong sales letter & about 3 weeks later, figured that maybe there was a real business opportunity available in this wild new frontier.

I joined a few free things the blue lines led me to & found my in-box full of e-mails every day!

Wow, wasn't I famous?

All these people wanting to talk to me...awesome!

I had no idea what I was doing.  I clicked on every single blue line & followed every link all the way through; I must have been the opt in Genie's wildest dream come true! I was after this million dollar lifestyle this internet thing promised me!

In amongst all this I had joined Viral URL...didn't have a clue what it was...BUT it was the absolute best thing I ever did. Every day they sent me 50 e-mails from their various members & of course I read every one of them!

I learned about every kind of internet business going.

It was an amazing education & by the end of 6 months in between my business of  giving lessons every week to classes of 10 or so new home buyers, I found that I could probably have a go at this internet marketing thing!

The wheels had fallen off my trolley in the economic downturn & I lost everything...EVERYTHING. I just had to learn how to earn money & do it quickly, as I was up in years  & the lure of a million dollars in a day sure fired me up...

I had put all my eggs in one basket & was receiving a good income, then it all went south overnight taking all my hard earned money with it, but not only that, about $400,000 of my friends savings too...which I guaranteed.

Ouch!

To-day is Friday, 18th December 2009 & I have just launched this site at 4pm this afternoon to my list & had 2 responses while I was still sending out the first message!

Now I promised I would write my daily doings in here 3 or so times a week now is the time to begin.

I want to create a "sticky page" for the first post, so I may be away for a few days until I find out how to do it!

It sets the scene for the whole thing, so I must find out how do it. It keeps the first page at the top all the time.

This is a double post, as yesterday when I was doing this post, my web server had programmed a service, so I had to leave everything & finish it to-day.

Just unsubscribed from a few more sites I've been receiving info from for a while now & have a clear head...well until Christmas at least!

Had to correct some typos in here, make a few more links work, set up my affiliate links to some suppliers, add the Forum section to post the Sunday        "I DID IT" report & check all my e-mails.

Today, I also had to go to 2 of my son's homes, see my beautiful 4mth old grandson & collect gear for my daughter, who is staying for a few months & do some Christmassy things, like eating lots of chocolate with nuts, a big bowl of lovely berry ice cream, washed & ironed the white lace tablecloths for Christmas Day, found my crystal glasses that got hidden in the recent move & a bunch of other normal things for this time of the year.

Next;  finish this post, begin my new site for my Off line consulting Biz, which will help fund my Quest for the elusive holy grail...one million dollars in a day, then check this site's stats & Aweber opt-in stats & then I'm calling it a day!
